Mark Knight Pottery is located in Hobart, Tasmania being established in 1981. Mark's work and styles have been influenced by his environment, especially the landscape of Tasmania.
Mark currently produces 4 distinct decorative ranges of pottery.
- The stylised Butterfly range has progressed over the years but remains in constant demand.
- The Iris design came from the garden outside his workshop.
- Tasmanian Mountain Range has grown with his travels around the island.
- Crystalline range has grown in recent years as Mark has been fascinated with the random and unpredictable growth of crystals. He now is devoting a lot of time experimenting with the glazes and techniques required to produce this work.
Items within these pottery ranges continues to grow to include everything from vases to side plates, dinner plates, mugs, salt & pepper shakers, sugar bowls, cutlery holders, bowls, spoon rests, jugs, his beautiful non drip tea pots to large garden bells and beautiful platters.
